Message a month after I finished rebuilding the motor. I had bent valves in 3 cylinders. Pulled the motor, took the heads off, replaced ALL of the valves to be safe. I recommend everyone to upgrade to the RameyZ HD idler pulley studs when they get a chance.

I can't comment on what caused the stud to break. It sheared off so only the threads stayed in the block. It may have been under-torqued or over-torqued, I don't know.

Also, I would follow the 60k miles or 5 years schedule. Well, if I had less than 60k after 5 years, I might push it to 6 or 7 years. If i had to go any longer than that, I would question why I have a car that I don't drive. Then again, with the way gas prices are rising, it might not be practical to drive 60k miles in 5 years anymore.
