These need access at the top of the shock. To locate where to drill the hole, I found some wood dowel that fit tightly into the top of the shock. I cut it off shorter and shorter until I could just get the interior covering to fit back over it. Then I put a thin layer of clay on the back side of the cover, installed the cover, and it showed where the dowel hit the cover. Then drilled a small hole into the center of the depression created in the clay by the dowel. I cap the hole with a small plastic cap from the hardware store like SilverTwin shows. The hole is small so I need a flashlight to see the markings on the shocks. The top of the cap is 5/16" dia., matches the color of the cover, and works fine.
