| adjustment - everything is easy to reach. - Good chance to make some extra wire runs for adding things later - While I had the heater box out, I used some white grease on all the various actuators and links for the air flap doors. - Do a good job cleaning up the air box from any residual leaked coolant. It will still smell after the job is done. - Be sure to add a ground wire to the rear bolt that holds the heater core pipes in place (rear of air box). Ground the wire to some convenient body point - this will greatly reduce electrolysis in the pipes and core. - Fix (glue) the dash if it's peeling up by the defroster vents I hated doing this core replace job - takes forever to get everything apart and then back together.
