Message As far as HICAS the best explination I've ever heard that makes it simple to understand whether it's good or bad comes from the SPLparts website (for thier Hicas Eliminator) I'm not going to quote it but the jist of it is that it gives you a big improvement for high speed slolom and tighter turns, however on really high speed sweeping turns it encourages you to understear. It can also screw you up when you countersteer because the HICAS doesnt know when your steering to stabalize or when you want to go that direction, so it could shoot you right off the corner (exageration obviously).

Most people leave it on if it's working though, and then just eliminate it when it breaks because it's costly to repair, but unless you at the track all the time doing time attack or something its not going to hurt your driving.
