at 3 voltage stages. Don't recall the actual voltage levels off the top of my head but let's just say "low" for idle, "mid" for cruising and full 12 volts for wide open throttle. NA ECU only runs low and full, therefore the NA ECU should run the TT fuel pump at full voltage creating the "buzz" many refer to. NA ECU running a TT fuel pump at full voltage should not be a problem.
