Heat is something that comes to my mind as well, but this was really one of the shortest sessions I had run this year, maybe 10-12 minutes. I have seen melted pinion gears on other cars, I didn't see any of that upon the dissection. I think I would go to the TT diff before inegrating a cooler. I have seen a few cars at the track with 4" hose from a NACA duct to the top of the diff. Will just try a new dif for new and keep you guys posted.
