You can still send it for repair. That is aluminum and a machine shop can easily fix it.. not a big deal though :to post this but I also feel responsible to others that might be contemplating the "Dremel Method". While my engine was out, I thought that, since I will be re-using my stock "old style" injectors and anticipating a failure in the future, I would Dremel all 6. With the intake manifold in place, I went slow and took off just enough material to be able to get my hex-head screws out. I was successful...until the last one (the #2 runner). I had not cleared the screw before I burned through. SHOCKER ! :I guess you could say the "Dremel Method" is something you would only do as a last resort to avoid a plenum pull, NOT as a preventative "just in case" measure. :Here's the kicker...this is the same plenum that I spent countless hours polishing. Anybody laughing yet? :I've bought a used plenum in classifieds and will start over from scratch. I won't be using the Dremel Method again until I absolutely have to. Proceed with caution.
