Well since you have an n/a I guess you may as well make it look good since you can't do much to make it that fast. I have a pearl white and my engine bay is a mix of chrome and a powdercoat I think was called silver vein (black with silver flecks). Get the plenum and water pipes powdercoated. You can also do your hood latch, hood prop rod, radiator brackets and a few other odds and ends. Take out your timing belt covers, cowls, and some things like that you can spray paint yourself. Get a stainless steel bolt kit for $40 and for about $ 60 you can get stainless steel hose sleeve kits that look good although they may not work with your color combo. I'm feeling a bit lazy but if I can get motivated I'll do a search. Someone did a write up with pictures of redoing his engine bay for under $500 and it turned out really well although I'm not sure if it was posted on this site or 3zc.
