| I have Falken 615's, and I didn't want to chew them to pieces if my alignment was off. I installed adjustable upper front and rear control arms at the same time, so everything was pretty much gauranteed to be out of whack. The Z is my DD, and I have no other way of getting to work, so I would have had to drive with the alignment settings all hosed. That's pretty much all the caster that can be dialed in when they juggle the camber/caster/toe for some reason. It seems like it's always been that way for the last 10 years. Last year some MORON at a "race shop" I took the car to actually ran the front wheels *hard* into the backs of the wells to the point where the tires were physically pushing back the liner! There was a 3-4" gap btwn the front of the tires and the front of the wells. The machine "told him he needed to keep pushing the tires back to get the caster in spec", so he did, never mind the fact that he was extruding my lower control arm bushings and you couldn't even roll the car like that. I was like WTF!?! put the tires back in the center of the wells! Then the shop owner comes over and starts yelling at me, saying that's how the car is supposed to be!? Anyway, the Z isn't too darty, or at least I've just gotten used to it. When I'd switch between driving my E36 325is and the Z I did notice the Z changed directions more quickly with steering input. Any idea on wheather it'll mess up my alignment to much if I just go lower a 1/4" on that one side? It'll take out a bit of negative camber, but not sure what it'll do to the toe and caster settings.
