| A lot of cars out there use two or more resonators in the exhaust system to reduce the sound, but I'd say that if you put in another set of resonators on the 3" TPs that may be overkill. Look to something in the 2.5" section right after the X The length of the resonator makes a big difference in how it sounds. If you say there are resonators in place of the cats, then that probably means the resonators are pretty short. As a result, I picked the longest resonators I could fit at about 21" each side for my car. I've also been told that Flex pipes can make a difference to how loud a car is. They absorb a lot of the vibration and resonance in their movement. I have a pair of 3" flex pipes right after the downpipes on my car.
