| Local NJ/NY/PA/CT guys, check event for Etown track day. [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/events/view/12939/Englishtown-road-course-day.html ] I went to the free track day when they had it couple of weeks ago. Didn't another Z there. I got about 10 laps in. Over all, not a very technical track, but I did manage to get side ways a couple of times. But mind you all their instructors did 360s in their race cars. I think I got up to about 120 on the main straight. The surface needs some pavement work which I think will get done in the winter. The temperature in the mid day was in the 80s. But it felt like over 100 degrees. No pit area, no garage, no shades. (Just a track, parking on the grass.) The track day will be on Oct 16. Two weeks after Zcon. We will have a 50 car limit. So each car is $75. Spots are opened to Z owners and former Z owners (ie. members of tt.net/3zc) first. Any open spots will be open to other car clubs. I will have a website up in a few days where you can check schedule/rules, download tech sheet, pay for your spot. Payments are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.
