Message Line locks work by maintaining line pressure in the front brakes. Hold the brake pedal and hold the button to "lock" the front brakes. Remove your foot from the pedal, and the solenoid maintains line pressure to the front brakes until switch is released, Once the button is released the pressure is released back to normal and brakes are fully functional again.
