Message	service station where I always brought my Pontiac informed me that they would not touch the Z except to do oil changes. These guys worked on all kinds of cars. Yeah, the Z can be difficult to work on. You've seen the engine bay. I can understand how, if your friend used to work on them years ago, but hasn't touched one in a while, would feel reluctant to go back to that now when it's not his own passion. Knowledgeable Z folks in NJ include Barry (NJ) and spyhunterTT(nj). Good luck... You don't have to live in a bubble just because someone else caught the flu.
