Message It's a boring Monday here at the office so here I am. I've been rebuilding my motor since January. It started as a simple rebuild but the way that I am didn't allow that. Taking stock pistons out...why not put forged pistons in. Putting forged pistons in...why not put much larger pistons. Putting larger forged pistons...why not put forged rods. Larger pistons...bore the block, balance the crank. On and on and on right down to buying everything new that attaches to the motor. I've done that with every aspect of this "simple" rebuild. Is this some crazy OCD thing that I have or is everyone else in the same boat? I'd like to hear what everyone has to say about their rebuild. Mine started with a $4000 budget which included the turbos. Now I'm a little over $6000 and haven't ordered the turbos yet! I'll start putting it back together as soon as the head gaskets get here. Here is a list of what Ive done.....so far:
Wiseco 88mm psitons
Eagle H-Beam rods
bore block
balance crank
Z1 intercoolers
555 injectors
New A/C compressor (nothing wrong with the old one)
New Alternator (nothing wrong with the old one)
New PS pump (nothing wrong with the old one)
Of course Gasket set
PCV kit
Egr delete
Coil Pack connectors
VTC Soledoids (nothing wrong with the old ones)
Cometic MLS 89mmx1.6mm head gaskets
Decked heads and block

"Well I have an ex-wife, a girlfriend with 2 kids, 4 kids of my own, a boss and, a mother. I don't have any more room for making people happy."

"She's always wet and hot and purrs when I slide inside of her. She screams when I put my foot down and isn't too hard to control. She is usually straight but she slides her rear out when I ask her too. Always gives me a boost. Stays with me and leaves the other guys behind. She is even more fun when her top is off...so free. Sometimes a friend will join in, male or female, and we both enjoy her. Plus she is a non smoker...what more can you ask for?"

A few questions to ask....about the car of course.

1. Do the tops come off?
2. Does it leak fluids?
3. How is the under carriage?
4. Have the air bags been out?
5. Tears in the seat?
6. Electroincs work?
7. Been hit from the rear?
8. Does it get hot?
9. Has it been lubed?
10. Any body work done?
11. Takes a good waxing?
12. Driven hard?
13. Smoker?
