Message	they are usually willing to help you for a reasonable price. for something body color, i would leave it to the professionals. with this, you get durability, quality, etc. i say independently owned body shop because chain body shops only want to help you for the big jobs where insurance is a factor, or if you are painting the entire car. why not paint it black? painting it black would be more of a diy.
