Message I am posting this as an update to the Z1 high performance valve springs that I posted about here

Z1 emailed me the next morning promising to straighten it out. I called them and they said it wouldn't be a problem to swap the springs out for the JWT springs. They also explained to me that they sell two kinds of Z1 valve springs: A stock replacement for stock cams, and a high performance set for high lift cams. I was not informed that both were available and I received the stock replacement ones. They also gave me a discount on the JWT springs for my hassle.

After switching my order, I called back a few days later and ordered a single spring of the Z1 high performance (for high lift cams) set. I received it and I just got done testing it.

At 1.043", it had 158 psi (stock spec is 120.6). I don't have the set of JWT springs yet so I cannot offer a comparison, but it is much higher pressure than stock.

Besides not informing me of the different availability, Z1 was extremely easy to work with and definitely came through in my mind. So if you want to get the Z1 springs for a high lift cam, make sure you specify that you want the high pressure springs, not the stock replacement.

***Side Note***
For those who are wondering, I have the results of my flow test. I am waiting on the pictures to be sent to me so I can put the post together.
