Looking back, If I were to buy another Z, I would try to find one as close to stock as possible, not because I prefer a stock Z over a modified one, but because that's the only real way you can be sure someone didn't just half-ass some motor work or something. My Z was probably taken apart and put back together 2-3 times before I bought it and I am constantly finding thing's that could have been avoided if a previous owner or mechanic hadn't just slapped the shit back together as fast as possible. I just dont have the piece of mind with my car that I would have if I had supervised all the work done, and nitpicked about every little thing. with an NA>TT convert there are a lot of unknowns, where did the donor motor come from? was it a A-spec or one of these supposed "guaranteed 45k or less" j-specs that seem to be fucked up more than not. all that work involved in a conversion to me just says that somone had a lot of opprotunities to make judgement calls on whether to do things right, or to do them right now.
