Message Hey guys,

First post here. I have been reading the forms for some time and have wanted a 300z since the 11th grade in high school (15 yrs ago). I'll never forget seeing that black 300Z NA with aftermarket wheels rolling by my house every now and then. It's hard to explain to anyone that don't get "the feeling" when one of these cars roll by. After all these years I still get the feeling, but even more so now that owning one of my own is a reality.

Anyhow, I found a 93 na conversion close to my house (central Ohio). The guy has had this car for over 2 years that I know of for sale. The guy tells me he bought the car in Georgia and that the conversion was done by Z1. He says he has paper work. He is only asking $7500.00, but tells me he really wants to sell it he has no place to store it. I'm guessing I could get it for less. The body, interior is all in good shape. I have not drove the car yet.

More than anything, what should I look for to tell if thie conversion was done by someone that knows what they are doing? Everything appears to be in place under the hood. Doesnt smoke on start up. Sounds good.

There is just something about buying a conversion like this thats not good. My plains are to save my money and this time next year plain a road trip to pick up a nice Z. But I drive by this car everyday, and as all of you know. That works on a guy !! I just dont want to jump the gun and end up regretting not waiting. But at the same time I dont want to miss a really good deal!!

Thanks for your input,

BBailey
