Boost leak, It probably has at least a small one some where, somone commented earlier about the questionable nature of my IC piping. I would think a small leak would make it run a bit rich, but what kind of symptoms would you notice on the road? I had assumes it had to do with the air flow coming out of the filter from the tech doc which pretty much matched my symptom's to a T. Car starts cold and idles around 1500 slowly getting lower as it warms up until its at temp it idles around 800, but it becomes rough. and dips down to 4-500 before coming back up. Also the car runs great at mid-high RPM but from 2500 and under its a dog. 2500-3500 it's reasonable, and over that it's pretty damn mean. but if I come to a stop from 45+ without down shifting to keep the RPM up, the car will stall every single time. That's Why I assumed some sort of air box, along with taping the underside of the filter to force the air flow onto the MAF sensor in order to read better. I'm really worried that if the MAF isn't reading right I'll be running lean and have detonation problems so i've cut back significantly on the boost until I can resolve this.
