| Was driving to lunch today while at college and noticed the A/C not being very cold. I just got it working about a month ago so i thought maybe it just broke again. So i rolled the windows down and enjoyed the hot sticky Georgia day. Well then i recognized the smell of Valvoline oil burning(only oil iv ever used in any car) as i approached the campus. Assessed the situation and bad news. Apparently my Temp gauge no longer works and it has been running hot this entire time( hense the A/C no longer being cold.) It will still crank but runs very rough, missing on a cylinder or two and strong smell of oil. No water in the oil, but i am guessing fatal or close-to damage. Trailered it the hour and a half drive home and now it sits, waiting on me to decide what to do with it. New motor or try to save that one? It has 204K miles on it.
