Message	need an amplifier to power the subwoofer. A one channel/mono block amplifier is what you need for one sub. Or a two channel amp that can be bridged(left and right channels put together into one). A two channel amp for your fronts would be nice and sound better but a set of coaxials will run off a deck. No you would not want to run one channel of a two channel amp to your subs and the other to your front stage. If your going to do this yourself, yes an amplifier wiring kit will make the install easier.
