| There is probably an obvious answer to this so I apologize in advance if I am just brain-locked. Prior to the 300 degree fuel rails, if you wanted to install some pintle-less injectors (like the 740's) into the a 90-93 lower plenum, the seat of the lower plenum needed to be machined so that the injector sat lower in the plenum. Now with the 300 deg rail, the lower plenum does not get machined, plus there is the thickness of the rail itself. Does this result in the injector tip sitting quite a bit higher in the lower plenum as a result? If so, why is this OK? Thanks in advance
