| I had a resistor for a couple of years. When I had my transmission out, I replaced the knock sensor harness. Ohm tested it, and it was reading perfectly, so I didn't bother attempting to replace the knock sensor itself. Put the transmission back in, drove around for a few days and pulled the codes... 34 was back. Ohm tested at the subharness again and... nothing. No reading. I have no idea what happened. The harness looks fine - it didn't get crimped between the bell housing or anything of the like. I can see it going down behind the EGR, but I get no reading. Kind of a bummer. :-( So back in went the resistor, lol. -jb
