I live in Canada and I bought a z32 couple of years from the States, the buyer or yourself need to fax a copy of the title to the custom office and to the boarder crossing where the car will be going through 72hours prior to the arrival of the car to the boarder. Plus you need to leave the original title in the car if you are shipping it.
I hired a brokerage company here in Canada and they did all the paper work which isn't much as you see from above.
