Message	I had the VIN etc, and got it covered. Test drove, bought the car, and drove it back to MA (from SC) with the SC "Tag applied for" plate. Not smart, but I got back ok. Only to get pulled over in the airport exit for not having my lights on. Luckily for me, it was Sunday (bought on Saturday) and the previous owner hadn't canceled the registration yet. Combined with my insurance, I was technically legit, and simply told to "get it home and not get on the road again till I register it" "...Downpipes own.
