| I was told the issue might be due to cold O2 sensors, and once they warmed up things went back to normal. It made sense, so I went with it. At the end of last season, I saw that the ECU was throwing a Det Sensor open circuit code. This was repaired last weekend (thanks again Jeff!), and the car immediately stopped bucking and hesitating when cold. I was told by Ben@JWT that the program cuts timing & raises the fuel mixture when it detects an open Det Sensor circuit, this must have somehow made the car bog heavily when cold. Maybe this info can be useful so someone having the same problem.
