| Unless I'm mistaken (and I've pulled my tranny about 5 times...) You don't have to remove it, it definitely makes it easier but you don't have to. I'm in the army and I've got it down to where I can drop the tranny out of my car in about 2 hours at the hobby shop in Alaska. Just a lill note, to make things easier I wouldn't even use the lift bay... it costs more than a flat bay and standing underneath the car with your head and arms up gets hella tiring... Go to a flat bay, secure it on jackstands and lay down underneath it... it's way more comfy. and get a rolling tranny jack (the low, screw-type one).
