Message	A patent's purpose is to prevent others from re-discovering what you did/ inventing something identical from a separate line of thinking. There are significant laws that prevent exactly what this is: a direct copy. People doing this get busted on the streets of New York selling knock-off bags/watches. (Beyond the counterfeit angle, it is illegal to directly copy someone else's design).
