Message	on ebay (I think) when I was looking for one back in 2004. Allegedly the TT for sale had been stolen from a dealership. For many years it was kept on the sly and occasionally driven by the thief. His secret came unraveled one evening when he was caught speeding in it. The advertiser claimed to have police documentation of the caper. The car had incredibly low mileage, 400 if I recall correctly, but the asking price was close to original retail, which was beyond my budget, so I didn't investigate further.
