While I was at school tonight some one broke into my car. The broke in through the window. They then broke the unlocked glove box open, so now the top of the door is on the floor. They then pulled out the center panel but took nothing out. My only guess was they were after the Blitz EBC i-Color since the stereo is stock and can't be worth much. I don't think that they knew what it was but thought is was worth some money. They did get away with my Ipod, Cell phone, wallet(with DL, CCW and credit cards) and all my tools. One of my credit cards had been used 7 times at different gas pump. Who ever broke in cut themselves and got some blood on the arm rest. So believe it or not the police called CSI. So them can out and took photos, finger prints and a blood swipe. They said that they would run a DNA test on the blood and look for matches. I them said you are not really going to go through all that for a car break in are you. He said yes but it was a low priority and would take 2 to three weeks, then gave me his phone number and told me to call and see if there were any results. I know this question should be in tech but since the guy has my DL with my address on it i want to disconnect the screen/head unit in case he comes by the house. Can i run my car with out it connected.
