Message	and cracked the windshield. Bird did not survive, saw it drop in the rearview. Had bird butt meat smeared across the top of the fender. Was able to finish the race though; the windshield did not disintegrate. I think the bird was a quail or something like that. It was big, a little less than basketball sized. I have this all on tape by the way. 8mm, don't have the equipment to get it to digital.
