Message and, once it's finished, I don't want to chrome it or maintain the shine by repolishing. Clear powder coat is out since I hear over time engine heat yellows it.

So I'm considering a ceramic finish. Those of you with ceramic coated plenums, H2O pipes, CAS, etc., what are your experiences with the long term durability and appearance of this sort of finish. Also, I'm thinking of polishing my plenum to an 80 grit finish over all and calling it good. Is this adequate to ensure a shiny finish after ceramic coating?

Car speed road calling / bird freed leaf falling / we can bide time.
