On Tuesday I raced twice with a coworker 350Z and I won both. I raced him with my 05 Altima V6. My experience and his lack of it at the drags made me win but why his MPHs were lower than mine? Beside his 19" and wider wheels I don't think he has any mod. Maybe is that he had more weight (gas, spare and stuff and his own weight) or maybe it was that he had the wrong tire diameter/circunference changing the gearing ratio. For starters I just do the basics to drag race, less lbs on the tires, completly empty trunk and less than 1/4 tank. Other than that I just use a K&N stock type filter and remove the resonator thingie to allow more air to the stock box. I have stock 17" wheels and tires. Here are the results:Altima 0.802 2.198 9.496 14.702 94.80 350Z 1.0719 2.3531 9.5128 14.6300 87.74 2nd race Altima 0.723 2.291 9.529 14.712 95.32 350Z 1.2889 2.4610 9.6032 14.7231 92.38
...guess it depends on who is using it, the only thing I dont like is how big the thing is, looks funny - Posted by: Insomniac67J on March 11, 2004 at 8:59 PM had mine uplugged for a year then decided to sell it to a member who needed one, then I had a hole to fill. - Posted by: greyzx on March 11, 2004 at 7:52 PM .
