I ask this because, crank case pressure goes up a lot under boost. I was watching an old MKIII Supra turbo car on the dyno on time that had one of those K&N filter for valve cover breathers. When the boost came on, a lot of crank case vapor dumped out like fog. A lot of domestic racer use an external vacuum pump to ventilate the crank case because there is pumping loses from the pressure on the back side of the piston. Also oil will less likely pool in the valve covers if the crank case is under vacuum. I am going to hook mine up so they are always under vacuum like the stock set up. The only difference is it will be filtered more through the catch can.
