I don't remember what my compression numbers were after my engine build, but I'll agree with everyone else that the 3500 for the engine install is way high. I THINK I was charged ~500 when the shop that was doing the work installed it. That probably made a big difference too, having the shop that does the engine work install it also. And FYI, I spun a rod bearing and had the dealership check it out (didn't know what it was at the time). I agreed to let them pull the motor and take it apart to find the problem. My bill from the dealership was less than $800 -engine out and disassembled.
