BOV on an RX-7 if the ECU and everything is tuned right works fine because of the MAP. Other cars, such as my wifes 1.8t Jetta work 10x better with a DV rather then a BOV. People often put BOV's on 1.8t engines for sound, but it actually will reduce your performance and can actually make the car turn off while driving due to the irregular induction and air/fuel ratios.
