Message but then I got my CDL license. I couldnt afford to get a "stupid ticket". that would have cost me a $2500-$3000 a week job.

I was a chauffer as a teen. Ive taken EVOC for the Police Dept and Rescue. I drove OTR for 8 yrs. I have been a paid professional driver for many years. I've always thought of myself as an excellent driver.

I tracked my Z for the first time this past summer at Nelson's Ledges. on the 2nd lap, I passed 4 cars. theres no SUV's or driveways, no trees, mailboxes, signs, lightpoles, cops...so I ran pretty hard. the accelleration was incredible. however on that 2nd lap, I took a curve too fast. I tried to recover, but the car went off the track sideways. there was nothing I could do. I remember laughing thinking that I am about to slam the driver's side of my car into a firewall at triple digits. the car stopped well before the tire wall.
I got the car back on the track and drove to the pits to clean my pants out.

I slowed down alot on public after going offroad at triple digit speeds.after tracking a car, I find it unthinkable to streetrace.

I guess alot of you guys who do streetrace would rather race on the street because you worry about something breaking on the track. whatever that you might worry about breaking on the track you WILL break on the street too.

and know this: a 3000 lb car travelling triple digits will hit a home/grocery store parkinglot, etc... like a scud missile.
