I am by no means a 1/4 mile guy and my car is definately not setup for 1/4 mile runs. If I wanted a quarter mile car I would've bought a mustang. After some weight reduction, my car no longer has a 53/47 weight distribution. If you were able to get your car to a 52/48 weight distribution, then simple math suggests that I can get mine to a 50/50. I don't mean to attack you but you quoted on my "stable at high speeds" comment and forgot about the more balanced power slides (cornering) part. It makes sense that the coupe is more agile due to the shorter wheel base, but that is not what I felt after driving both.
