Just a quick post to inform....... A few people have contacted me regarding problems that ended up being caused by the Nismo transmission mounts some folks are buying thinking they are for the Z32. I looked into this and found that Nismo does not make a transmission mount for the Z32. The Nismo transmission mounts being sold are for a 240sx. The mount has the same bolt pattern pattern as a Z, But causes the trans to sit too high and puts the driveshaft at the wrong angles. This mount also has the wrong exhaust hanger location and will put extreme stress on the exhaust system. Some sites selling this mount sell it for the 240sx and also say it will fit the Z32 if you leave the exhaust mounting bracket off. This not a good idea because of the length of exhaust not being supported and you still have adverse driveshaft angles. The stock mount is fairly soft and absorbs a lot of vibration and noise. We always use stock mounts to keep the car more streetable. The stock Trans Mounts last about 5 years on average and are worth changing at that period to keep a nice smooth comfortable ride.
