I've noticed that Americans are more respectful to other people's possessions, maybe it's the fear of getting shot there, I dunno. On the flip side, they drive like maniacs, so if you factor in all the odds, the chances of getting your car trashed there are way higher. Also, I noticed that Americans will compliment your car and approach you for car-talk much more freely than Canadians. Around here, people just stare and whisper, at the most I get a nod. In the US, I would get flagged to stop for a chat or complimented by strangers almost daily. It's different approaches I guess.
