Message	reflect overall speed. here is an example I quickly drew up just for a visual. so even if the 96 auto makes less power, its smaller turbos and cams would get what power it does have sooner, and hold it for longer (longer gears) and shift less... maybe not so in this case but it is posible... It's not turbo lag, It's foreplay!
