Ok, so I didn't exacty get destroyed..but this guy's car was a great sleeper. Also, I don't condone street racing at all, and really I almost never do it. Also, this read is kinda long, so only do it if you are bored =) So anyways, me and a friend of mine are driving to someone's house cause we were just going to do the usual hangout thing. On the way there, a white 240 with turbos (you could here them) keeps bothering me flying by, then slowing down over and over again. Me and my buddy do what I usually do when this happens and we just keep driving normal and give him a thumbs up for having a ncie car (you don't want to race where I live..too many cops and it's dumb anyways IMO). Well after about 30 seconds of this, my immaturity gives in and I was like "we might as well run him..it'll be fun." Anyways, we do a simple 2nd gear pull. Basically as I was giving it all I got, I did not see the car go behind me like I usually do :( Instead, he was dead even. At the end of second, we slowed down again, and did another 2nd gear pull....once again, dead even. Now I know my engine isn't built yet or anything, but still I very rarley get beat or stay even with a car and this guy was totally keeping up..if not about to pass me if we kept going. He asks me to pull over at a gas station so we do. When we get out he starts telling me how nice my car is and goes on about that for a while. Then I basically ask what the hell he has under there haha. He pops the hood and tada....RB25 with lots of goodies :) He then tells me how he built it to be a sleeper an dhow he loevs it that people always just thinks he has an SR20...and I have to give him mad props for that b/c it TOTALLY suprised me. We sat around and talked about each others cars for a while..he looked at mine, I looked at his yada yada, then He says he has to go and that we'll see each other again since we live in the same area and jets off. Very cool guy. This is when the cops shows up... Me and my buddy were just starting to get back into my car as a cop pulls in the parking spot by us REAL fast and jumps out of his car. Not just any cop too...and Flower Mound PD cop...the worst cops EVER of all time. Basically I was thinking "yay..he saw us and I'm the one getting busted. I never race..damn it damn it damn it!" About then, he says something like" I saw you running that car down there. I said something like "yea sorry abou tthat" Totally not being an ass at all and suprisingly he wasn't either. He wipped out his flashlight then and started shining it around and started giving me compliments on my car and starts asking about it and what I've done to it and stuff. I basically tell him almost everything haha including the plans for the engine build ect. This whoile time he was actually very excited and still really really cool and kept sying things about how nice it was and that it looked fast as he saw me racing it (I had to just laugh in my head at the fact a cop was telling me that). Anyways after a couple minutes of that he asks to sit in the car, and I say sure..just be careful. He gets in it and just sits there for a bit, then looks up at me and says these exact words "My God..this is fucking nice!" (lol) About then he jumped out of the car said a couple last words about me and my buddy and the Z and said "I'm sure I'll see yall around..have a great night guys!" I asked if he was going to do anything about us and he said "No ways guys..yall look like some good guys with a nice car..I see no harm in that." He then drives off and me and my friend were just standing there in total shock just standing there. Then we started talking about how cool that cop was for not busting me for a minute or so, then hopped back in the Z and headed to my buddies place to complete the night. I know the story was long, but I just had to share it cause that cop was rediculously cool and really could have done me in which would have sucked A LOT considering my driving record is really clean.
