| Toshiba HIR 9012 generally outputs 1875 lumens vs the 9006's 1000 lumens, almost twice the light output. Both 9012 and 9006 are low beam bulbs and have a glare shield at the tip of the bulb 9005 generally output 1700 lumens whereas the new HIR 9011 outs put 2300 lumens. Both 9011 and 9005 are for high beam applications and have no glare protection. All four bulbs are basically interchangeable with a bit of filing at the plastic base either with a file or a dremel. Takes less than a minute to modify.
