| Not that it will make a difference either way since the surface area is so small, but which way would the heat be flowing? Is the air going from the turbos to the intercoolers hotter than the under-hood ambient air? The air going from the intercoolers to the throttle bodies is probably cooler than the under-hood temps, so I would think the more-insulating silicon would do better there. Again, I don't think it would make any difference... I'm just curious. Less clamps and ease of removal make the silicon hoses more than worth it to me.
