Seriously the only experience I have with lojack, and it is what sold me on the it right then, was an episode of COPS. Sounds dumb but hear me out. It was NYC or Newark and someone had been stealing alot of construction equipment in a particular area. Long story short, the cops and the owner of the stolen equipment piece used the LoJack tracker to track the equipment all the way to the actual building that it was being stored in. They tracked it to within 20 yards! This was at least 6 years maybe 7 ago when I saw this, I am sure the technology (GPS right?) is vastly improved. LoJack seems to me to be the ONLY way to recover your car before the thieves let you recover it (they strip it and ditch it somewhere). Oh and definitely, buy a gun, get a concealed license, real easy here in OKC, unfortunately you CA boys have to deal with all the asshats who run that state and their nanny-bureaucracy. Good luck and good thing you made it out ok.
