- You mention that one of the reasons for the controller change is regulator/return overrun. I have experienced this in my street/strip car. Another solution is to replace the regulator and return line (-06 or -08), a mechanical, rather than electronic, solution. The added benefit is that you now have return headroom, and you gain adjustable fuel pressure.- As a level set, you can get lots of performance without having to do these fuel mods. I point to Greg Dupree's car, running low 10's, with a single stock pump if his profile is correct. I believe everything you have stated here. The shame is that your efforts aren't going towards an 8 second drag effort, but rather towards cars that do not need it in the first place. RSR
