...it's alot of stuff to dig thru, but read one (Montana is the best) and the rest are very similar. This stuff is very industry specific and I apoligize if I sounded nasty or glib about the level of technical experitise needed to read them. I needed alot of translation myself. But I'm sure you can handle it. I don't argue you had benefit, and I can see the notion the large cross-section may help, but why is the industry recommending 8 PCF and up for structural, and the 2 PCF for NVH? In my case, my vert is quite literally a "flexy flyer" and since I only get one chance to inject the car, I'd rather wait for something stiffer.
