Message	I've heard that there has never been a successful water landing in an airliner. They break apart every time. But that statistic is a bit misleading. If you think about it, why would the airliner be landing in the water in the first place? If they had control of the jet they'd be landing it on a runway. The only reason it's hitting water is if they lost control of it over water, and in that case they're usually lawndarting into the water instead of landing on it.
