My Labree cat-back arrived this week, about a week after I ordered it from Greg Dupree. It had been on back order due to the Sebring mufflers and this moment has been eagerly anticipated. I ordered the aluminized finish pipes, along with resonators on the X-pipe, per Greg's recommendation due to the loudness that would result for an NA without them. Out the door with shipping was $865. I know many of you would like a closer look at the exhaust so here are some regular shots along with close-ups of the welds and resonators. Here they are installed (w/ a tribute to Spee). The pix are poor since my install dragged on into the night. I plan to post some more daytime pics in Part 2. I had some problems getting the left side muffler to sit the same as the right. The tips were butting up against the rear bumper. I tried to redo the bolts but it would set right back in the same position once I torqued them down. I'll have to try again tomorrow and give Greg a call to see if he has any tips on aligning them if I don't get anywhere.
Lots of water vapor visible from the cold engine:
And finally a tribute to the Lion King (anyone know what I'm talking about?)
I'll post more pix tomorrow along with a report on the butt dyno and the sound. I must say what I heard so far is very pleasing to the ears.
