| Sorry for posting this so late. Here is the info from the latest news letter. You don’t have to be a racer or experienced hot-lapper to participate and have a great time at this event. We always have special run groups for first-timers, and first-timers are paired with experienced track drivers to assure a safe orientation to the track and to track safety. We will have a never-ever-been-on track-before-fee of $20 for Z Car Club members. Contact Roy Davis, Chief of the Technical Inspection Crew (303-726-1644 C, or 303-445-3055 W, co300zxtt@hotmail.com) for answers to your questions. You may have your car inspected at the track on the day of the event -- but you must get to the track early for that option. The event will be limited to 50 cars, so don’t wait too long to register. To register, complete the form on the ZCCC website at [ www.zccc.org ] and bring it with you. Directions to the track and requirements such as helmet and clothing is also listed on the site. A technical inspection form may also be obtained on the website. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. The State Patrol track does not have a snack bar so be sure and bring plenty of water, snacks and a lunch, you’ll get hungry there. Drivers meeting will be around 8:30, then from there the track time starts. We run 4 groups depending on your skill level. Usually get at least 4 runs in for each group, most of the time more towards the end of the day. CSP is a very safe and easy track to learn on if you are a first timer. And no you don't have to have a Z to attend this event.
